Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and The Voice UK presenter Reggie Yates are among the showbiz names who have made the Broadcast Hot 100 list.
The weekly trade magazine’s countdown celebrates “the most creative and successful people in UK television” over the past 12 months.
Other TV stars who made it onto the list included magician Dynamo, This Is England star Vicky McClure and comic Jack Whitehall.
Sherlock and Doctor Who writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss made the cut, alongside Moffat’s wife Sue Verture, Fresh Meat writers Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong and Birdsong scribe Abi Morgan. Gavin & Stacey star Ruth Jones also makes the list for her work on Stella.
Lisa Campbell, Broadcast editor, said: “Broadcast’s Hot 100 reveals the leading lights in the worlds of TV, radio and multiplatform. Just one fifth of the people in this year’s list appeared inBroadcast’s last published Hot 100 in 2010, keeping a rapidly evolving industry alive in challenging times.
“Key themes that can be drawn from the list this year include the escalating commissioning sway of Sky; the undeniable resurgence of appointment-to-view blockbuster drama; the cinematic vision of our best craftspeople and the shifting sands of the digital world.”
